Illness

The following guidelines are to help you decide whether or not your child is well enough to attend the centre.

Any outbreaks of the following illnesses will be notified on the whiteboards in the entrance areas to the rooms.  In some cases staff may request a Doctor’s certificate after your child has had a severe illness before allowing your child to be re-admitted to the centre.  This is to protect your child as much as it is to minimise the risk to other children and staff.

If your child appears to have ongoing or frequent reoccurring illness such as chronic discharge from the nose or abnormal stools, we may ask you to seek medical advice.  This is for the protection of your own child as well as minimising the risk to other children and staff.
