Driving on a rural road
If you see sheep, cows, horses or other livestock on the road, please slow down to 15 kph. Please do not honk your horn or rev your car motor to hurry them along. This will only frighten them, and they may up end causing damage to either themselves or other property.
If you see horse riders, the same guidelines above apply. If possible cross over to the other side of the road to avoid startling the horse and rider.
